Newmarch House based at Kingswood is home to 102 residents. Reporting to the Residential Manager and working within an experienced team, you will provide quality administrative support to the manager and team whilst portraying a professional appearance in our resident's home.
This is a fixed term role for 3 months with possible extension to 6 months. You will be available Monday to Friday fulltime.
Some people have a special ability to bring order and organisation to a situation. If that’s you, this may be your ideal role.
We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to support our team. You will have the opportunity to support the residents in providing quality administrative service. You will be juggling many tasks within this busy role such as: admissions, minute taking, payroll, ordering supplies, and general administrative duties. You will be interacting respectfully, patiently and empathetically with residents and family members as well as manage reception and perform other tasks to help the Home run smoothly and effectively.
Skills, knowledge and Experience needed
• Previous administration experience in an aged care setting preferred;
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders;
• Attention to detail;
• Genuine interest in supporting older people.
