About the Opportunity  

This is a newly created position in the Seniors Living Business Unit, reporting into the General Manager of Finance. As we seek to continue growing and expanding our Home Care offering, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role partnering with management and leadership teams to provide financial insights for effective business decision making.  

About the Role 

The Senior Financial Analyst will ensure the provision of timely and accurate analysis, insights and recommendations across care services whilst maintaining oversight on the generation of accurate financial results. Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to): 

  • Contribute to the development and coaching of operational staff in understanding financial results, reporting, KPIs and dashboards with the aim to build organisational capability, accountability as well as timely and sound decision making. 

  • Ensure thorough, timely and accurate analysis of data and the delivery of regular insights on operating performance, areas for improvements, revenue leakage and non-recovery of costs. 

  • Ensure monthly analysis reporting is developed, continually enhanced and shared with key stakeholders to enable effective decision making. 

  • Contribute to the delivery of accurate and timely monthly financial analysis, KPIs and dashboards to ensure a clear understanding of divisional performance to the senior leadership team. 

About You 

For this role, we are seeking a solution orientated and collaborative individual with a mix of the following qualifications, experience and skills:  

  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, business, or a similar field with a CA / CPA qualification.  

  • A minimum of seven years’ experience in highly analytical roles.  

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel. 

  • Strong oral and written communication, along with strong listening skills.  

  • High attention to detail, particularly when working with big data sets.
